Comment about your last post. It's sad how you just can't buy good quality anymore... even in a portable radio. I have a GE brand portable radio that Slim and I purchased in 1978 when we used to go canoe camping way up in the boundary waters of Minnesota and Canada. Trust me... if you don't have a good radio up there you're screwed... because the reception is so poor on a cheap one. Anyways... we are still amazed that this radio still works; and works well. We have it out in the bait shop now, 31 years later and use it every day.

Floyd would love to have one of those. He bought one that has some dials as well as push buttons, but the sound quality is lacking, :(
