Independence day!
We hope everyone enjoys their holiday! And, we wish all the wildfires out west, would just stop! We will be spending the day at home. Our little Japanese friend is coming for lunch. I am fixing some bbq so all is good, lol. We can see lots of fireworks from our front porch, so we are not going anywhere.

Happy 4th of July Weekend to you! Thank you for you sweet comments on my blog. Tonight I'm fixing up some partridge dredged in egg and cracker crumbs then fried in oil for supper; but a BBQ sounds pretty good too. So when you say BBQ, just what would it be? I know when my sister in Texas says BBQ she's talking a brisket on the grill or possible some pork ribs. When I say I'm grilling out it usually means a steak on the grill or chicken.
This time my bbq is pork ribs. I love brisket, but it takes a long time and I don't have the patience anymore. Of course, steak is good too, lol.
