Helloooo out there!
Omigosh, I am having pc problems so I haven't written in a while. We are all doing fine and now I am reading a lot. Didn't want anyone to worry. Lovely day today and we are going shopping. Take care and I will talk with you all later.

TGIF
Well, it is a beautiful day here today. I had my final doctor's appointment today and he said everything was good and I can let him know when I need more meds! Yea!!!
I see it is cold and rainy in California and we should have some of that by tomorrow night. Then, we have several days of upper 50s - to 60s. I don't know how warm it was today, but I saw 75F downtown.
Oh yes, my plum and peach trees have buds now, so it won't be long. Sure hope the Spring winds don't blow all the blooms away like last year.
Hope you all have a good weekend!

Hump Day!
Ahhh, the week is half over and what in the world have I done. Nothing, lol. I made it to the library and got some more of those inane books by Debbie Macomber, went to see the doctor and now I must go back every day for three days for them to do a "blood pressure check". Bought a pickup truck from son Stewart at a great price, Thanks Stu!
Floyd always has the local radio station on and I realize that when they give the menu for the schools or for the senior center, they always mention: red enchiladas! Ha, the simple joys of living in the Southwest. Our local newspaper, the Deming Headlight has never mentioned one word about the Superbowl. Our Entertainment Center that was to be completed over 5 years ago, seems to be coming along - slowly.
If the weather map means anything, then much of the western U.S. should have some nice sunny mild weather.

Cardinals lost :-( We had good weather!
Oh well, they played great and the Steelers won in the last 2+ minutes. At least it wasn't a blowout.
We had a beautiful day here today. It was sunny and warm with no wind. Floyd watered everything. Since we live in a desert, we have to make sure our trees and plants receive water. It hasn't rained in a really long time. Yesterday, we went for a drive in the country and it was nice, but a little windy in the afternoon. I talked with Stewart today and his temp in Tucson was 76F. That is a good temp for this time of year. I think I would like living there. We should have those kinds of temps next month. It gets very hot there in the summer, but it also gets very hot here. I enjoy the heat since apparently my circulation is impaired. I think we feel the heat more here because of the elevation, at least that is what the literature tells us. We are told to "protect our skin from the sun." At this stage of my life, I cannot imagine living where the weather is cold.
I've been watching a program on TLC about Polygamy. It is illegal, but these people in Utah, live so far from a regular population and nobody else lives out there. Nice large homes with lots of kids. Of course the men love it. It seems an odd way to live.
I have a few errands tomorrow but nothing important. I hope tomorrow is as nice as today.
